Social Media Marketing Trainee

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. This is a paid internship role ideal for someone who is passionate about social media, content creation, and digital marketing. You’ll gain hands-on experience managing real brand accounts and executing campaigns across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across various social media platforms

Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement

Collaborate with the design and content teams to develop campaign ideas

Help track performance metrics and prepare weekly / monthly reports

Research influencers, trends, and competitors

Assist in running paid ad campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) under guidance

Contribute to community engagement and online reputation management

Requirements

Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Basic knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, or other design tools is a plus

Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or Hootsuite is a bonus

Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation

Ability to manage time and work independently

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field
