Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Fundraising and Investor Relations professional. You will be responsible for managing relationships with existing investors, attracting new investors, and overseeing fundraising initiatives. The role involves preparing investor reports, conducting financial analysis, developing fundraising strategies, and representing Pointo at industry events and investor meetings.

Key Responsiblities

Lead the end-to-end equity fundraising process — from investor onboarding and due diligence to cash-in-

bank.

Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, venture funds, and financial institutions.

Develop a compelling investment narrative that clearly communicates Pointo’s value proposition and growth potential.

Prepare investor decks, reports, and financial models to support fundraising activities.

Coordinate data room preparation, documentation, and compliance processes.

Represent the company at relevant industry and investor events.

Work closely with the leadership team to develop and execute fundraising strategies aligned with company goals.

Qualifications

Have previously been part of a startup ecosystem or worked in a startup.

Have knowledge of FDI and investment trends.

Proven track record in successful fundraising, financial analysis, and investor relations.

Strong network and relationships within climate tech, green infrastructure, or sustainable energy investor communities.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for investor engagement and representation.

Ability to operate effectively in fast-moving, unstructured startup environments.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.

MBA from a Tier 1 Business School (preferred).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience preparing investor reports, financial documentation, and managing data rooms.

Understanding of battery technology or the EV ecosystem is a plus.

Strong organizational and project management skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
