Information Security Engineer - Golang

Overview :

The Information Security Engineer will be responsible for the automation and delivery of network security in global public cloud initiatives. This role plays an integral part in ensuring scalable, automated, and secure deployments across AWS and GCP environments, with a strong focus on Terraform and Golang-based Engage with multiple cloud and networking stakeholders to understand requirements for complex enterprise cloud environments.

  • Provide expertise and guidance on cloud and network security for programs such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Cloud Application Architectures.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and SMEs to deliver complete and secure architecture solutions.
  • Lead cloud network security initiatives by designing, developing, and delivering scalable Terraform modules.
  • Build automation workflows and tools using Terraform and Golang to improve deployment efficiency and consistency.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate network security configurations and deployments.
  • Monitor, optimize, and improve reusable patterns and modules for network security.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of overall experience in data center, cloud, and networking.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in AWS and GCP cloud environments.
  • 3+ years of experience with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices.
  • 3+ years of experience in Terraform (with proven module design and delivery experience).
  • Hands-on experience in Golang for automation and tooling development.
  • 3+ years of experience in advanced networking in public cloud.
  • Strong understanding of classical and cloud-native design patterns.
  • Knowledge of security configuration management, container security, endpoint security, and secrets management in cloud applications.
  • Knowledge of network architecture, proxy infrastructure, and programs that support secure network access and enablement.
