Role Summary : With dual reporting to the respective school dean and central marketing, this role acts as the first point of contact for marketing requests, manages day-to-day school-specific marketing needs, and coordinates with central resources for more complex projects
Responsibilities :
School-Specific Marketing SupportCreate and implement school-specific marketing materials following university brand guidelinesManage school social media accounts in accordance with the university social media policyDevelop content highlighting faculty expertise, research achievements, and student successSupport school events with appropriate marketing communicationsAssist with school newsletter development and distributionCreate basic graphics and visual content for school needsMaintain school web pages with current and accurate informationContent Development
Write compelling stories about school achievements and activitiesInterview faculty and students for feature storiesDevelop content for various channels (web, social, print)Edit content from academic sources for clarity and engagementCreate promotional content for academic programsEnsure all content aligns with university messaging and quality standardsSchool Communications Liaison
Serve as the first point of contact for marketing and communications requestsTriage requests to determine appropriate resources and supportConnect school stakeholders with specialised central resources when neededCommunicate school priorities and needs to central marketing / communications teamsKeep school leadership informed about marketing initiatives and opportunitiesFacilitate clear communication between schools and central marketing / communicationsCampaign Support

Track engagement metrics for school-specific marketing activitiesMonitor social media performance and growthPrepare regular reports on marketing activities and outcomesIdentify trends and opportunities based on dataContribute to the assessment of marketing effectivenessKey Skills :
Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and excellent control over the English language (Verbal and Written).Understanding of various social media platforms and their algorithm changesHighly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite. Basic knowledge of Illustrator / CorelDraw will be an added advantage.Ability to refine other people's ideas and come up with new ones to create a highly designed visual experience.Qualification :
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mass Communication or allied fields.Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in designing and executing communication activities, preferably in the Education sector.Experience with Communication / Creative agencies / Vendors will be added advantage.
