Job descriptionDevelop eco-friendly, handcrafted, and ethically sourced products—Furniture, Textiles, Home Décor, Lighting & Accessories. Deep knowledge of materials such as FSC wood, recycled metals, natural fibres, organic cotton, vegan leather, handwoven textiles, etc. Work closely with design teams, artisans, factories, and QC to ensure elevated UK-standard products. Own T&A calendars, PD trackers, sample tracking, costing sheets, and packaging development. Ensure on-time sample delivery, risk management, and transparent communication with buyers. Strong knowledge of compliance, testing, packaging norms, and sustainability certifications. Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive automation) Project Management Tools (Asana, Trello, Monday, ClickUp, Notion, etc.) AI Tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Midjourney for concepting, etc.) Creative Tools (Canva, Figma, Miro) Ability to build dashboards, trackers, presentation decks, and PD boards with speed & clarity. 10 plus years of merchandising experience with brands / retailers preferred. Strong eye for design, storytelling, and handcrafted product detail. Excellent communication, smart problem-solving & relationship management. Curious, tech-savvy, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced global environment. About the Role
We are looking for a forward-thinking Deputy Merchandising Manager (DMM) to lead and grow our strategic business portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of sustainable materials, ethical sourcing, craftsmanship, and premium home & lifestyle design with a global aesthetic.
