Job description

Account Reconciliation : Perform timely and accurate reconciliations of bank, payment gateway, and

other financial accounts to ensure records are consistent and error-free.

Data Analysis : Leverage advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and assist with reporting.

Tally Expertise : Maintain and update financial records in Tally ERP, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled appropriately. Transaction Review : Regularly review and investigate discrepancies, providing clear explanations and solutions for any variances in accounts.

Reporting : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation reports for management review.

Collaboration : Work closely with other teams, including Finance, Accounts Payable / Receivable, and Operations, to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

Audit Support : Assist in audit preparation by providing necessary reconciled financial data and supporting documentation.

Process Improvement : Suggest improvements for enhancing reconciliation processes and increasing efficiency through automation or new tools.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

Advanced Excel Skills : Proficient in Excel with strong knowledge of formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH), pivot tables, macros, and data manipulation techniques.
Experience with Tally : Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP software, particularly for transactionrecording and reconciliations.
Data Analysis : Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to resolve issues.
Attention to Detail : Strong eye for detail and precision in handling financial data.
Accounting Knowledge : Basic understanding of accounting principles, preferably with experience in managing reconciliations and financial reporting.
Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in accounts efficiently.
Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Previous experience in a reconciliation role in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of other accounting software is a plus.
