Job descriptionBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development, including Salesforce multi-cloud architecture. Strong hands-on experience with : Salesforce OmniStudio (Vlocity) – FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures. Apex (classes, triggers). Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components. Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and system integrations. Proven experience developing and deploying managed packages. Ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code. Experience working within a structured development environment and following DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Salesforce certifications – at least 2 certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Developer, OmniStudio Developer). Proficiency in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe frameworks. Experience working with version control systems like Git.
Job Title : Salesforce Engineer (OmniStudio)
Location : Chennai
Work Mode : Hybrid – 4 Days Work from Office (WFO)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using OmniStudio components including FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
- Build scalable and reusable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components.
- Develop and maintain custom Salesforce components and user interfaces, integrating with backend systems using Salesforce APIs, JSON, and SOAP web services.
- Collaborate with Ford IT and development teams to integrate Salesforce across various business functions.
- Take ownership of the release cycle, ensuring smooth deployments and version control.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, write and maintain unit tests, and adhere to Salesforce coding standards and best practices.
- Ensure platform performance, maintainability, and long-term scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
- Drive and support agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
