Job Title : Salesforce Engineer (OmniStudio)
Location : Chennai
Work Mode : Hybrid – 4 Days Work from Office (WFO)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using OmniStudio components including FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
- Build scalable and reusable solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components.
- Develop and maintain custom Salesforce components and user interfaces, integrating with backend systems using Salesforce APIs, JSON, and SOAP web services.
- Collaborate with Ford IT and development teams to integrate Salesforce across various business functions.
- Take ownership of the release cycle, ensuring smooth deployments and version control.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, write and maintain unit tests, and adhere to Salesforce coding standards and best practices.
- Ensure platform performance, maintainability, and long-term scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
- Drive and support agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development, including Salesforce multi-cloud architecture.Strong hands-on experience with :Salesforce OmniStudio (Vlocity) – FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures.Apex (classes, triggers).Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) and system integrations.Proven experience developing and deploying managed packages.Ability to write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.Experience working within a structured development environment and following DevOps practices.Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Nice to Have
Salesforce certifications – at least 2 certifications preferred (e.g., Salesforce Developer, OmniStudio Developer).Proficiency in web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe frameworks.Experience working with version control systems like Git.
