BI Team Lead – TCV, Fuels Marketing & Licensed Market

The BI Team Lead will drive Shell's Retail business transformation through analytics, AI-driven insights, and strategic data storytelling. This role blends deep analytical expertise with leadership to guide a high-performing team of BI Analysts in delivering commercial impact across Total Customer Value, Fuels Marketing, and Licensed Markets

• Lead AI-Driven Analytics : Champion the use of Generative AI and Agentic AI to automate insight generation, enhance decision-making, and personalize customer engagement strategies.
• Strategic Insight Delivery : Engage senior stakeholders (GMs, GM-1s) to deliver high-impact, actionable insights and drive adoption of scalable BI solutions.
• Portfolio Management : Translate business strategy into a targeted analytics and AI portfolio with measurable commercial outcomes.
• Technical Excellence : Ensure solutions are technically rigorous, production-grade, and aligned with Shell's digital transformation goals.
• Team Leadership : Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and ethical AI use within the BI team.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work across functions to solve complex business problems using cutting-edge data science and AI methodologies.

In 2022, Shell acquired Sprng Energy in a $1.55 billion deal to build an integrated energy transition business in the country. Sprng is a leading renewable energy company in India which develops and manages solar, wind, and hybrid power generation facilities and infrastructure.
