Danfoss - Junior Consultant - SAP GTS Module

Job Description :

Danfoss is looking for a Junior Consultant, SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) to join our ERP team within Danfoss Group Digital IT in Chennai, India.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the implementation and support of SAP GTS solutions that ensure compliance with global trade regulations and streamline international trade operations.

You will collaborate with experienced consultants and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and support across various SAP GTS Responsibilities :

• Assist in the implementation and configuration of SAP GTS modules such as Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for SAP GTS functionalities.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and system configurations.
• Participate in system testing, validation, and user acceptance processes.
• Support end-users by troubleshooting issues and resolving incidents related to SAP GTS.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation, including user guides and training materials.
• Help develop and refine standard operating procedures and best practices for SAP GTS usage.
• Stay informed about the latest SAP GTS features, updates, and industry trends.
• Assist in integration efforts between SAP GTS and other SAP modules or external systems.
• Prepare reports and perform analysis related to global trade compliance and & Skills :
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years experience.
• Foundational understanding of SAP GTS functionalities and global trade processes.
• Exposure to SAP ERP modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), or WM (Warehouse Management) is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to operate in a global business setting.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic IT and ERP landscape.
• Prior internship or project experience in SAP or ERP systems is advantageous.
