Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of key legal documents, including transaction agreements, term sheets, shareholder agreements, and investment documents.
- Supervise and coordinate due diligence processes, identify key risks, and provide actionable advice to clients.
- Advise clients on structuring and executing M&A, PE, and VC transactions in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on legal and commercial matters.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of transactions.
- Monitor developments in corporate law, SEBI regulations, and FDI policies, and proactively advise clients on potential implications.
- Mentor and guide junior associates, ensuring high-quality deliverables and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications and Skills :
Education : LL.B. or equivalent qualification from a reputed law school.Experience : 5–8 years of relevant experience in GC, M&A, and PE / VC transactions at a leading law firm. Note : Candidates with in-house experience will not be considered.Core Skills : Strong expertise in corporate laws, SEBI regulations, FDI policies, and transaction structuring. Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle complex agreements. Proven ability to lead and manage high-stakes transactions independently.Soft Skills : Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach. Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.Application Process :
