Job Summery :

Electrical design engineer's roles include designing electrical systems, creating schematics and selecting components. They are responsible for ensuring designs meet safety and industry standards, developing prototypes, testing and troubleshooting designs, and preparing technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop electrical systems and circuits.
• Create detailed electrical schematics and layouts using CAD software.
• Select appropriate electrical components and materials for projects.
• Conduct simulations and detailed calculations to analyze and verify the designs, appropriate electrical components and materials for projects.
• Knowledge of electrical component selection.
• Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
• Perform failure analysis and manage testing procedures.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and electrical codes.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, bills of materials and reports.
• Maintain and update design records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as mechanical and software engineers.
• Participate in design reviews and project planning.
• Manage project timelines.
• Review and provide input on design related issues and changes.
