Role Objective :
To lead the Bharat, Connect Biller Operating Unit (BOU) under the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS). Overseeing the complete lifecycle of biller onboarding, integration, and management. The role focuses on expanding the Bank’s biller ecosystem, ensuring seamless biller enablement through Bharat Connect, and driving business growth in alignment with NPCI and RBI guidelines.
Ker Responsibilities :
- Formulate and execute the product strategy and roadmap for BBPS BOU, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and onboarding of billers across various categories and regions.
- Manage end to end biller integration with the Bank’s BBPS platform through Bharat Connect.
- Liaise with NPCI, aggregators, and internal stakeholders for onboarding, certification, and technical readiness.
- Monitor and improve biller transaction performance, uptime, and success rations.
- Ensure, accurate settlements, reconciliation, and compliant redressal as per NPCI operations guidelines.
- Drive process automation and system enhancements to improve biller onboarding and servicing efficiency.
- Coordinate with IT, Operations, and Risk for audits, compliance, and periodic reviews
- Prepare and present performance reports, MIS and analytical dashboards for Division, HOD and senior management.
- Lead and mentor the BOU team to achieve strategic and operational objectives. Qualification & Experience :
- MBA or B-Tech IT or Graduate / Post Graduate with relevant experience.
- 8-12 years of experience Digital Banking Products, Merchant Acquiring or Fintech Product Management. Experience in BBPS BOU is as an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of BBPS BOU operations, NPCI regulations, and biller integration protocols.
- Proven experience in biller acquisition, onboarding, and relationship management.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and stakeholders management skills.
