Identity and Access Management Specialist

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) specialist to implement, configure, and maintain a secure and scalable directory services infrastructure in a Linux environment.

As an IAM specialist, you will be responsible for installing and configuring IBM Security Verify Directory on Linux servers. You will also set up and manage directory replication topologies, perform secure data migrations using LDAP tools, monitor synchronization and replication health across ISVD nodes, apply system patches, perform upgrades, and maintain overall directory health and uptime.

In addition, you will troubleshoot technical issues including authentication, performance tuning, and connectivity. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support access management needs and document architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4–9 years of Linux system administration experience, with a focus on Identity & Access Management
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically with IBM Security Verify Directory / Tivoli Directory Server
• Strong understanding of LDAP, directory schemas, and access control models
• Proven experience managing replication topologies and secure communication between nodes
• Proficiency in shell scripting (e.g., Bash) for automation
• Deep knowledge of security protocols including SSL / TLS and PKI
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred qualifications include experience with other IBM Security tools, familiarity with virtualization and hybrid / cloud environments, and IBM certifications related to ISVD or Security solutions.
