Software Engineer – AI-Assisted Development

While our flagship AI-powered software engineering platform is in the next phase of development, we are actively engaging in high-impact consulting projects and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) that leverage cutting-edge AI copilots and domain-specific coding agents.Role OverviewWe are looking for Software Engineers with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design to join our PoC and consulting initiatives. You don’t need prior experience with AI coding copilots — we will train you to work with open-source development tools and special AI agents (particularly for COBOL modernization and related domains) that we are building in-house.In this role, you will : Collaborate with our AI tools to design, implement, and optimize software solutions for client PoCs.Work closely with senior architects to translate requirements into efficient, scalable solutions.Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.Contribute to innovative consulting projects in the modernization and AI-assisted development space.What You’ll Be DoingApply strong problem-solving skills to real-world business cases.Leverage Capten.ai’s AI copilots and agents to accelerate development.Work with legacy systems (especially COBOL) for modernization projects.Assist in developing internal AI-assisted workflows for consulting engagements.Collaborate across geographies and industries on client-facing deliverables.RequirementsMust-Have : 2+ years of professional coding experience.Strong proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and system design .Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, C#).Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, frameworks, and workflows.Nice-to-Have : Exposure to COBOL or other legacy languages.Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Understanding of DevSecOps and CI / CD pipelines.Why Join Us?Be trained in AI-assisted coding workflows with cutting-edge copilots and agents.Work on diverse client projects across industries while shaping the future of software modernization.Opportunity to transition into core product development as our platform resumes active builds.Collaborate with a highly skilled, innovation-driven team.
