Position Overview :

We are seeking a skilled

Lead

Engineer

to join our Global Innovation Center (GIC) in India for Transco, a Marmon Rail Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VB.Net desktop applications. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams at Transco US to maintain and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities / Functions :

Design, development, and deployment of new features and enhancements in VB.NET.

Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, QA engineers, and support staff

Hands On with development and serve as the primary point of contact for technical queries

Implement best practices for code quality, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.

Mandatory Skills :

Languages / Frameworks : VB.NET 2012,2022

Databases : MSSQL Server, MySQL (Strong SQL and Stored Procedures, Triggers)

Web Technologies :

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Advanced DHTML, (Nice to Have)

API Development :

RESTful APIs and integration

Collaboration & Support :

Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Provide support for upgrades and performance tuning

Performance Optimization :

Analyse and optimize the performance of the solution for smooth user experience.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to both the front-end (UI) and back-end.

Reports :

Experience in building complex and domain-specific reports using Crystal Reports
