About the Role

We’re seeking a results-driven MIS & Costing Executive to own daily data on material consumption, production output, yield and costing analysis. You’ll deliver accurate, timely and actionable MIS that enables cost control and production optimization, connecting shop-floor data to financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and analyze daily production and raw-material issue data from ERP.

Track actual vs standard (BOM-based) consumption and highlight variances.

Prepare daily / monthly yield, wastage and consumption-variance reports.

Reconcile raw-material stocks (physical vs system) and support month-end closing.

Support product costing for existing lines and new model development.

Build MIS dashboards (daily / weekly / monthly) for management review.

Identify cost-saving opportunities via trend and variance analysis.

Coordinate with Production, Stores, and Accounts for alignment and accuracy.

Contribute to ERP / Power BI automation for MIS and costing modules.

Skills & Competencies

Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH, dashboards).

Hands-on ERP experience (Tally / SAP / ERPNext / Oracle or equivalent).

Strong grasp of BOMs, production flow and yield monitoring.

Analytical, detail-oriented and process-improvement mindset.

Clear coordination and communication across departments.

Qualification & Experience

Education :

B.Com / BBA / BCA / BE (Industrial / Production / Mechanical preferred).

Experience :

7 -8 years in a manufacturing setup handling MIS or costing.

Industry Preference :

Luggage, Plastics, Injection Moulding or related sectors.

KPIs

Accuracy of consumption & costing reports.

Reduction in raw-material variance and wastage %.

Timeliness of MIS submissions.

Improvement in yield and utilization efficiency.

Accuracy of monthly stock reconciliation.

Tools & Environment

ERP (SAP / Tally / Oracle), Power BI / Tableau, SQL / ETL tools, and Excel for reconciliation & automation.
