Skills and Competencies
- Experience with financial data and regulatory reporting requirements (e.g., Basel, IFRS, US GAAP) to ensure compliance and integrity of Moody's financial templates
- Understanding principles of credit analysis of corporate, banks or insurance companies and associated financial metrics
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and principles, including data quality, metadata management, and data lineage
- Working knowledge in data management tools and platforms (e.g., Databricks, Collibra, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data structures in financial reporting
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across business and technology teams
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Information Management, or related fieldPreferred : Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, DAMA, etc)Responsibilities
Contribute and maintain data governance policies, standards, and controls for financial data domainsMonitor and enhance financial data quality metrics, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across Moody's productsCollaborate with external data providers and internal teams to maintain and enhance financial templates aligned with new regulatory standards (e.g. IFRS 18)Partner with business units and technology teams to define and administer financial data monitoring and accountability frameworksOversee metadata management and data lineage tracking to ensure transparency and traceability of Moody's financial dataEnsure financial data integrity and relevant documentation to support sales and AI enablement and data acquisition strategyAct as a subject matter expert for external and internal clients, explaining how financial data flows through our products and its aggregation and mapping principlesAbout the Team
