Freelance Apparel Pattern Specialist

Role Description

This is a contract remote role for a Freelance Women Garment Pattern Maker. The role involves designing and creating patterns for women's garments, ensuring proper fitting, and working closely with designers to meet project requirements. Responsibilities include using both manual techniques and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to produce accurate and detailed patterns tailored to client specifications.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Pattern Making, Pattern Design, and Fitting
• Create, grade, and finalise digital garment patterns per client specifications.
• Liaise with designers and clients to resolve fit adjustments and technical issues.
• Proven experience in digital garment pattern making using CAD tools (e.G., Gerber, Optitex).
• Use specialized CAD pattern software to ensure measurement accuracy.
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for pattern creation
• Keen attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience working with women's clothing and knowledge of fabric types
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• A background in Fashion Design or related field is a plus.
