Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kochi for an Overseas Student Counsellor. The counsellor will work closely with students to understand their academic and career goals, providing guidance in the university application and visa processes. Day-to-day tasks include offering personalized advice, conducting consultations, assisting with documentation, preparing students for interviews, and maintaining strong customer relationships. The counsellor will also serve as a point of contact for inquiries and ensure that students are well-informed and supported throughout their study-abroad journey.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to guide students effectively in achieving their academic and professional goals
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to ensure high-quality interactions and support for students and their families
• Understanding of the Education sector, including knowledge of study abroad programs and visa application processes
• Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to maintain accuracy in documentation and ensure a smooth student experience
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment and maintain a professional approach
• Prior experience in student counselling or guidance roles is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Counseling, Psychology, or related areas)
