Job description

We are seeking a proactive AM / DM - Costing with specialized experience in Electrical Panels . The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise BOM / BOQ, estimating costs for various LT switchboards, and utilizing costing software effectively. This role requires strong knowledge of relevant electrical standards and proficiency in AutoCAD for single-line diagram preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Estimation & Documentation : Prepare detailed BOM (Bill of Material) / BOQ (Bill of Quantity) as per customer orders and release them for procurement. You will also be responsible for the preparation of the final Bill of Material and General Arrangement Drawings .
Panel Costing Expertise : Provide accurate estimations for all types of LT switchboards , including PCC (Power Control Centre), MCC (Motor Control Centre), PDB (Power Distribution Board), DG SYNCH Panels, DBs (Distribution Boards) , and APFC (Automatic Power Factor Correction) panels . You will primarily use costing software through the L&T portal .
Technical Compliance : Ensure all designs and estimations comply with various IS / BS / IEC 61439 & other relevant standards .
Software Proficiency : Utilize AutoCAD 2D for SLD (Single Line Diagram) preparation / submission . You must also possess working knowledge of general computer applications ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint ).

Qualifications

Proven experience in a costing role, specifically for Electrical Panels .

Expertise in preparing BOM / BOQ and cost estimations for various switchboard types.

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D for SLD preparation / submission .

Familiarity with relevant electrical standards such as IS / BS / IEC 61439 .

Skills

Excellent analytical skills for accurate cost estimation.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and general computer applications.

Meticulous attention to detail for BOM / BOQ preparation and standards compliance.

Effective communication skills for coordinating with procurement and customers.
