SAP ABAP Senior Consultant

Job description6-8 years of experience in one or more SAP modules. 2 implementation experiences on S4H ABAP. Experience with ABAP 7.5 coding standards and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA. Understands SAP Activate Methodology. Understands integration between modules. Leads detailed module-specific configuration and master data development. Must be highly proficient with OData debugging and locating the issue. Understands Web / Enterprise Services including ABAP Proxy and SAP API s. Proficient on ABAP on HANA, AMDP & CDS views. Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework user exists, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit). Good knowledge in developing Data migration programs and using related tools like LSMW, BDC, BAPIs and SAP Function Module including RFC Function Module. Strong experience in ABAP troubleshooting and debugging skills. Understands functional and technical specifications in detail. Debugging FIORI applications & Workflows, knowledge about BRF+ could be an added advantage Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others. Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. Understand business processes for focus area or module. Research and perform detailed tasks. Strong analytical skills. Understand business functionality related to SAP module / application as well as can identify and understand touch points between modules. Understand how to solve detailed SAP problems. Understand and can explain best business practices, especially those that SAP enables. Aptitude for working in a team environment; problem-solving skills, creative thinking, communicating clearly and empathetically, strong time management, and ability to collaborate with all levels of staff. Ability to interpret requirements and apply SAP best practices. Mentor associate consultants. Seeks ways to increase their level of contribution and team effectiveness. Further self-development of SAP skills and management skills. Lead and focus project team efforts in developing solutions for client situations. Evaluate and design application and / or technical architectures. Lead team effort in developing solutions for projects. Complete assignments within budget, meet project deadlines, maintain sensible commitments to client and team. Meet billing efficiency targets, complies with all administrative responsibilities in a timely and effective manner. Keep project management aware of project direction and client concerns. Understand client s business and technical environments. Prepare status reports regularly.
Responsibilities
- ABAP 7.5 coding and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA.
- Handle support tickets.
- Development using integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC.
- Interact with function and technical team to understand the requirements and propose solution & Deliver objects.
- Should be able to work independently on complex developments.
- Guide the junior team members to deliver quality and timely developments.
- Ability to debug, SAP ABAP Code, ODATA services for troubleshooting and find performance issues at various levels and fix the findings
