Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyze business processes and data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Create detailed reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. Translate these requirements into technical specifications for the data engineering team.
  • Data Engineering Concept : Have an understanding of data engineering concepts, including the principles of designing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Project Management : Manage and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of solutions. Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams. Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather feedback and ensure alignment.

Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience : Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data analysis and data engineering.
  • Technical Skills : Good Understanding on SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes. Understanding of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data warehousing solutions.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management : Experience in managing projects and working in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.

    • Required Skills :

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL and Python.
  • Understanding of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP).

    • Good to Have Skills :

  • Databricks : Experience with Databricks tool is a plus.
  • Certifications : Certifications in Databricks or Azure (or any relevant certifications) are highly desirable.
