Role 1: ACCELQ Platform – Test Automation Design Specialist
Role Summary:
This person should be highly skilled in the ACCELQ test automation tools platform and be able to assist in converting manual test cases into modular-based automated test cases that maximize reusability of test assets. This person will support the setup, development, and enablement of test automation for the ACCELQ pilot, and for the Majesco rollout in 2026. This role is critical to establish reusable libraries, onboard project teams, and ensure strong integration across the test ecosystem, while best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Build modular and reusable automation assets (UI, API, DB) using ACCELQ
- Develop logical application/functional modules to support a module-based test automation approach at the Suite level (e.g. Majesco P&C Intelligent Core Suite, which includes: Digital 1st, Policy, Line of Business, Billing, Claims, Data Lake)
- Integrate ACCELQ with CI/CD (Jenkins) pipelines
- Create and manage test data assets, persona-based user profiles, and environment configurations
- Support QA teams with technical troubleshooting, dynamic locator strategies (portal implementation of Snowflake), and PDF/DB validations
- Conduct training workshops and create user guides/templates for best practices for test design and test development
- Collaborate with architects to roll out framework guidelines and governance
Must-Have Skills:
- 3+ years in ACCELQ test design experience
- ACCELQ experience (platform setup + scripting + suite management)
- Strong understanding of API chaining, test data variations, PDF compare, and batch job execution
Role 2: ACCELQ Test Automation Architect
Role Summary:
This person needs to have deep technical knowledge of the ACCELQ platform to maintain the platform across the enterprise. This person will support the Test Automation Design Specialists by assisting them in determining the best way to apply ACCELQ functionality to test automation designs for consistency across all products and teams. This person will also directly interface with ACCELQ for support questions on the platform and contribute product ideas to advance the OOTB functionality of the Platform to best meet Majesco’s needs. This person will also guide the enterprise-wide rollout for Majesco and help create a scalable structure for test development using ACCELQ.
Responsibilities:
Tool Feasibility Mapping
- With Respect to Insurance domain & Majesco’s expectation (with respect to current limitation with iTAF/Serenity BDD – to be explained by Majesco resources) – Identify where ACCELQ excels and where limitations exist (e.g., dynamic data sets, multi-role sessions).
- Help showcase POC failures (if any) clearly (e.g.: inability to simulate Time Travel)
ACCELQ Framework Setup
- Define and configure reusable asset structures (Contexts, Actions, Suites).
- Implement a scalable Git branching strategy, simulate customer-level branching (50+ variants).
- Set up API and DB integrations, batch command triggers (e.g., Billing Night Jobs).
Test Data Design
- Implement test data abstraction for easier reuse across different modules or clients.
Define Reusability Standards
- Ensure all pilot work is built on reusable blocks—not hardcoded single-use assets.
- Establish coding/naming conventions, folder structures, and governance models.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3+ years in ACCELQ platform architecture and platform maintenance experience at an enterprise level,
- Strong knowledge of Test Data Management, API usage, and DevOps integrations
Experience level: 5 -10yrs & 10+yrs
