Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our IT operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users via various channels including phone, email, and chat.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and application software.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.
- Document and track support issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and peripherals.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery and support.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3-7 years of experience in IT support or a related role.Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP).Proficient in using ticketing systems and remote support tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Education
