Job description

We're Hiring : Construction Head- MEP (Projects) for Chennai / Delhi / Mumbai

Project Planning & Execution

  • Develop and manage project schedules for MEP works in alignment with the master construction program.
  • Review MEP drawings, technical submissions, and method statements for compliance with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural, and civil teams to resolve design conflicts.

Coordination & Communication

  • Lead coordination between internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors for smooth execution of MEP works.
  • Conduct regular MEP coordination meetings and ensure integration with overall project activities.
  • Ensure timely approvals of drawings, materials, and work inspections.

    • Quality, Cost & Compliance

  • Monitor material procurement, inventory, and installation to ensure quality and budget adherence.
  • Verify and certify contractor bills and variations related to MEP scope.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability norms.

    • Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors for effective project execution.
  • Provide technical support to the site team and resolve MEP-related issues.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client representatives on all MEP-related matters.

    • Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • 15–20 years of experience in MEP projects & facilities, with at least 5 years in a healthcare / hospital environment.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale hospital or healthcare facility projects.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale MEP projects (hospitals, commercial, residential, or industrial preferred).
  • Knowledge of project management tools (MS Project / Primavera), AutoCAD, BIM will be an advantage
