Job descriptionHands-on experience in operating CNC / VMC machines. Basic understanding of CNC programming (Fanuc / Siemens systems preferred). Ability to use measuring tools : Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc. Understanding of G-codes and M-codes (for experienced candidates). Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and monitor CNC / VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications.
- Perform machine setup, tool changes, and offset adjustments.
- Ensure components are produced with accuracy and meet quality standards.
- Conduct routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machines.
- Maintain production logs, inspection records, and tool usage reports.
- Follow all safety and shop-floor protocols.
- Identify and report machine / tool issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to meet output targets.
