Job descriptionPostgraduate degree in Climate Change / Agriculture / Forestry / Environmental Science . Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in climate change analysis and planning. Proven experience in climate modeling and interpretation of climate datasets. Preferred : Experience in agriculture / horticulture and climate-resilient rural development. Advantage : Understanding of ADB policies and procedures . Perform geospatial analysis for climate adaptation and natural resource management. Utilize remote sensing tools and GIS platforms for data extraction and analysis. Prepare thematic maps, spatial visualizations, and analytical reports. Support climate change analysis, soil health mapping, and crop suitability assessments. Lead crop suitability assessment with scientific and GIS-based approaches. Degree in GIS / Environmental Science / Forestry / Geoinformatics / Related Field . Minimum 7 years of experience in GIS and remote sensing for agriculture / environment / climate projects. Strong skills in GIS software, remote sensing platforms, and climate datasets . Proven ability in map creation and analysis report preparation. Advantage : Experience with ADB procedures . Conduct soil sampling, laboratory testing, and field-level soil health assessment. Prepare soil degradation studies, soil conservation plans, and evaluation reports. Collaborate with GIS teams to support GIS-based soil mapping. Prepare scientific analysis reports and technical documentation. Minimum 7 years of experience in soil health assessment, soil conservation, or land degradation studies. Strong experience in field sampling, lab analysis, and soil evaluation. Advantage : Publications related to GIS-based soil mapping . Excellent technical writing and analytical skills. Design and evaluate agricultural investment projects. Conduct analysis and prepare feasibility and planning documents. Contribute to climate adaptation planning and rural development initiatives. Support project administration and documentation processes. Lead stakeholder engagement and project development activities. Advanced degree in Agriculture, Marketing, Natural Resource Management , or related fields. Minimum 7 years of experience in agricultural project design / analysis. Proven involvement in 5 or more development projects (IFI / UN / Foundation / Impact Funds). Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Experience and understanding of provincial-level field conditions.
