The Tax Analyst II will play a key role in supporting the preparation and filing of U.S. consolidated federal and multi-state corporate income tax returns, as well as assisting with indirect tax compliance, fixed asset management, and various tax-related projects. This position offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure to corporate tax compliance and reporting processes within a dynamic and collaborative tax team.
What you will do :
- Prepare the U.S. consolidated federal and multi-state corporate income tax returns (Form 1120)
- Input financial data from trial balances and workpapers into tax software and Excel-based workpapers
- Calculate quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments
- Support the preparation of tax workpapers, including book-to-tax adjustments, apportionment schedules, and state modifications
- Assist with fixed asset management in software, rollforwards, additions / disposals, and depreciation calculations
- Prepare and assist with U.S. and non-U.S. indirect and withholding tax compliance
- Communicate with U.S. tax manager and associates to clarify data and ensure compliance with deadlines
- Assist with special tax projects and initiatives as required
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
