About the Role

We are seeking 13 - 20 years experienced Technical Project Manager (Tech PM) with a strong understanding of Oracle databases to lead our on-premises team. The ideal candidate will manage Run-The-Bank (RTB) processes including Vulnerability (VUL) remediation, Version & Infrastructure Testing (VITs), and system upgrades. The role requires close coordination with stakeholders and the cloud team to assess requirements and define enhancement strategies for both on-prem and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the on-prem Oracle database team, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of RTB processes (VUL, VITs, upgrades).
  • Oversee vulnerability management, patching, and upgrade cycles for Oracle databases.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the cloud team to identify which requirements should be implemented on-prem vs. cloud.
  • Plan, prioritize, and manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and drive process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager / Technical Manager in database environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle databases (on-prem) including upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Experience managing RTB operations and leading technical teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong project management expertise (Agile / Waterfall methodologies).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OCI) and hybrid setups preferred.

  • Oracle certification (OCP, OCA, etc.).
  • Experience in IT risk, compliance, or security frameworks.
  • Prior experience working with financial services or regulated environments.
