Job Description

As a

SharePoint On-Premise Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and supporting SharePoint On-Premise solutions. You will work closely with business users, stakeholders, and IT teams to create effective and user-friendly solutions that enhance collaboration and business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Customization

Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint On-Premise applications and workflows using

SharePoint Designer

and

SharePoint Subscription Edition .

Build and customize

SharePoint lists, libraries, content types, site templates, and pages .

Develop and deploy

custom SPFx (SharePoint Framework) components

and client-side web parts using

React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery .

Integration & Automation

Retrieve, display, and manage SharePoint list and library data using

REST APIs

and

CAML queries .

Implement process automation solutions using

Power Automate (Flow)

and

Power Apps .

Integrate SharePoint with external systems or databases as required.

Maintenance & Support

Manage existing SharePoint environments including

site collection administration, permissions, and content management .

Perform troubleshooting, performance tuning, and user support for SharePoint applications.

Ensure SharePoint sites comply with organizational security and governance policies.

Project Management & Collaboration

Understand stakeholder requirements, translate business needs into SharePoint solutions, and manage projects independently.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SharePoint solutions.

Participate in requirement analysis, design discussions, testing, and deployment phases.

Documentation & Testing

Prepare detailed technical documentation for developed components, workflows, and configurations.

Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

Ensure quality and performance standards are met during project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

1–3 years

of hands-on experience in

SharePoint On-Premise development

(SharePoint 2016 / 2019 / Subscription Edition).

Strong working knowledge of

SharePoint Designer ,

SharePoint Framework (SPFx) , and

client-side development

(HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery).

Proficiency in

Power Automate ,

Power Apps , and

REST API integration .

Experience in building custom forms, views, and data-driven web parts.

Good understanding of

SharePoint architecture, site collections, content databases, and security model .

Ability to develop and deploy reusable SharePoint components and templates.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to manage end-to-end development and delivery independently.

Good to Have

Knowledge of

SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365

environment.

Familiarity with

C# ,

ASP.NET , or

PnP (Patterns and Practices)

development model.

Understanding of

Power BI

integration within SharePoint.

Basic knowledge of

SQL Server ,

IIS configuration , and

SharePoint administration tasks .
