Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing using Selenium (Java), Appium, Katalon Studio, and Rest Assured.

Create robust automation frameworks and maintain scalable and reusable automation libraries.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and manual QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.

Perform end-to-end testing of applications including UI and backend validation.

Execute regression, smoke, and sanity testing as part of CI / CD pipelines.

Write and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test data.

Track and report bugs and defects using tools like JIRA or similar.

Participate in code reviews, continuous improvement, and best practices for testing.

Contribute to DevOps practices by integrating tests into Jenkins or other CI / CD tools.

Required Skills and Experience :

3+ years of experience in Automation Testing.

Proficiency in Java programming and scripting for test automation.

Strong hands-on experience with :

Selenium WebDriver

Appium for mobile automation (Android / iOS)

Katalon Studio

Rest Assured for API testing

Experience in writing test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Good understanding of CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
