About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Associate – DevOps Engineer to join our Salesforce DevOps Center of Excellence (CoE). The candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI / CD pipelines to support efficient, automated, and reliable delivery processes across projects. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance DevOps maturity, automation, streamline deployments, and ensure compliance with best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Copado, or Azure DevOps.

Manage version control systems including Git and GitHub, ensuring proper branching, merging, and release strategies.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Shell, or Bash for build, deployment, and monitoring tasks.

Author and manage YAML configurations for pipeline orchestration and environment automation.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth build and deployment workflows.

Troubleshoot build and deployment issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the DevOps process maturity.

Implement and maintain DevOps best practices, including environment management, code quality checks, and security scans.

Work with cross-functional teams to support Salesforce release management, environment setup, and configuration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

4–7 years of experience in DevOps or CI / CD pipeline implementation.

Proficiency in Git and GitHub, with a solid understanding of version control concepts.

Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Copado, or Azure DevOps.

Experience writing and managing YAML-based configurations.

Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Shell, or Bash.

Strong understanding of build automation, release management, and deployment strategies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills in an Agile environment.
