Job Summary :

Amity University, Kolkata is seeking a dynamic and proactive Placement Manager to lead and manage the campus placement activities. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between students and industry, ensuring robust placement opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement comprehensive placement strategies to enhance student employability.
Liaise and build long-term relationships with companies, recruiters, and industry stakeholders to secure placement opportunities.
Organize and coordinate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, internships, and career counseling sessions.
Guide and prepare students for placements through workshops, mock interviews, resume building, and skill development programs.
Maintain detailed records of placement activities, student profiles, and recruiter feedback.
Collaborate with academic departments to align skill development initiatives with industry requirements.
Monitor and analyze placement trends and prepare periodic reports for university management.
Address student queries and provide continuous support during the placement process.

Qualifications & Experience :

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or related field.

Proven experience (3+ years) in placement management, campus recruitment, or career counseling, preferably in an academic environment.

Strong network within industries and corporate sectors is highly desirable.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to motivate and mentor students effectively.

Proficient in MS Office and placement management software / tools.
