Job Description

Pay By Wallet is a core product pillar of Pismo's non-card response. It is a unified (API) suite empowering wallets to offer seamless, tokenized transactions globally on visa merchants. It will allow digital wallets and A2A networks to access Visa acceptance points using Tap, Scan & Click channels. Pay By Wallet includes select issuer processing, TR, & TSP from Pismo as part of the API suite.

What you'll do

Development and maintenance of projects in Golang language with deployment on AWS.

Proactively contributes to the betterment of other engineers in the company, through sponsoring, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.

Consistently leads the squad to good outcomes from a technical perspective, ensuring appropriate engineering decisions are made to factor in technical debt, systems design, stability / reliability, monitoring / observability, and business need.

Execution of Terraform to create / remove new resources on AWS.

Monitoring applications through logs / metrics

Participation in technical analysis with product team requirements.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience

2+ Experience with Golang

2+ years experience in with any cloud platform (AWS / GCP / Azure)

2+ years experience with Infra as a code tools (Terraform, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with critical systems
