Overview of Job Function :
We are seeking a highly skilled CloudOps Engineer with a strong development background and hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and automation. This role requires expertise in Java, Python, and Shell Scripting, along with proficiency in cloud-native technologies and automation frameworks. While ServiceNow experience is a secondary skill, familiarity with ServiceNow workflows, CMDB, and ITSM processes will be valuable in optimizing IT service operations within cloud environments.
As a CloudOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud solutions, automating deployments, ensuring high availability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud service efficiency.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities :
- Development & Automation – Build automation scripts using Java, Python, and Shell Scripting for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.
- CI / CD Pipelines & DevOps Integration – Implement and maintain CI / CD workflows for seamless software deployments.
- ServiceNow Integration & Optimization – Support ITSM workflows, CMDB enhancements, and cloud-based service automation using ServiceNow (secondary focus).
- Incident & Change Management – Lead troubleshooting efforts for cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring operational stability and compliance.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization – Utilize monitoring tools to track cloud service health, identify inefficiencies, and optimize resources.
- Security & Compliance – Implement best practices for cloud security, access control, and regulatory compliance.
- Cross-Team Collaboration – Partner with DevOps, SREs, and ITSM teams to improve automation and drive innovation.
Minimum Requirements :
Strong development expertise in Java, Python, and Shell Scripting for cloud automation.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).ServiceNow experience (secondary skillset) in ITSM workflows, CMDB modelling, and automation scripting.Experience working with REST APIs, Integration Hub, and system integrations.Deep understanding of cloud architecture, containers (Docker / Kubernetes), and networking.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and incident resolution skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with business and technical stakeholders.Additional Requirements – Good to have :
