Role Overview :
The Piping Designer will be responsible for preparing piping design deliverables for onshore oil & gas projects. This includes creating plot plans, equipment layouts, piping plans, isometrics, and support details, while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and engineering best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop piping designs including plot plans, equipment layouts, and piping plans under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Prepare construction drawings and job packages including isometrics, material take-offs (MTOs), and support details.
- Perform interdisciplinary checks to ensure coordination across engineering disciplines.
- Review and incorporate vendor drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site surveys to support design accuracy and feasibility.
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper documentation control.
- Ensure compliance with Lamprell’s HSES (Health, Safety, Environment, and Security) policies.
- Adhere to all applicable information security policies and procedures.
