Job Title : Oracle Commerce Cloud Architect

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) Architect to join our Oracle CX team. You’ll be responsible for building and enhancing B2B / B2C eCommerce experiences using Oracle Commerce Cloud, integrating with backend systems, and supporting customizations that deliver a seamless, scalable online experience for our customers and partners.

This role requires hands-on experience with OCC’s frontend and backend frameworks, REST APIs, widget development, and integration with systems like Oracle Fusion, ERP, and OIC.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and customize features and functionalities in Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC)
Build and customize OCC widgets using JavaScript, Knockout.js, and OCC SDK
Implement security framework for Partner specific implementation for Oracle Commerce
Implement integrations framework with Fusion CX, ERP and OCC
Configure Product Catalogs, Price Groups, Promotions, and Workflows
Implement partner-level pricing, promotions, and dynamic cart rules
Architect and deliver robust and scalable commerce solutions
Write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices in OCC customization
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities
Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance
Stay updated on Oracle CX Commerce features, releases, and roadmap
Provides technical support to Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC) platform and its integrations.

Qualifications

3+ years of deep expertise in Oracle Commerce Cloud (OCC), with end-to-end implementation experience

Strong knowledge of OCC architecture, REST APIs, and widget development

Experience with Node.js, Knockout.js, JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS and UI development artifacts

Familiarity with OCC tools like Admin Console, Developer Tools, and Publishing

Hands-on with integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or custom Node.js / Java-based middleware

Experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud is a plus

Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Agile development practices

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Extensive integration experience especially with payment providers.

Demonstrated experience in working directly gathering requirements and negotiating design with business e-commerce teams.

Experience designing architecture, touch points, and dependencies between OCC and feeder / downstream systems in a multi-channel sales business.

Preferred Qualifications

Oracle Commerce Cloud certification (nice to have)

Experience with B2B commerce scenarios , multi-site setups, or headless commerce models

Exposure to cloud-native architectures (OCI, AWS, etc.)

Familiarity with accessibility and performance optimization best practices
