Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Understand product requirements, technical specifications, and use cases to derive comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Design, document, and execute detailed manual test cases for functional, regression, UI / UX, integration, and system testing.
  • Conduct thorough smoke testing, sanity testing, exploratory testing, and ad-hoc testing to uncover bugs or inconsistencies.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
  • Reproduce issues and work with developers to verify bug fixes.
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives in an Agile / Scrum environment.
  • Provide test estimations, contribute to test planning, and participate in reviews of requirements and test cases.
  • Collaborate with automation engineers to identify test cases suitable for automation.
  • Ensure deliverables meet functional and quality requirements before production & Functional Skills :

Testing Tools & Platforms :

  • Defect tracking : JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps
  • Test case management : TestRail, qTest, Zephyr
  • Documentation : Confluence, Excel, Word
  • Testing Types Expertise :

  • Functional Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • UI / UX Testing
  • Smoke & Sanity Testing
  • System & Integration Testing
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Compatibility Testing (across browsers / devices)
  • Basic Understanding Of :

  • SDLC, STLC, and Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • API Testing using Postman or equivalent tools (optional but preferred)
  • Basic SQL for data validation and backend testing
  • Familiarity with DevOps environments and deployment workflows (nice to Skills :
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for quality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
  • Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and domain :
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • 26 years of experience in manual software testing
  • ISTQB Foundation Level Certification (preferred but not Join Us :
