Auditor of Mathematical Reasoning

We are seeking a skilled Mathematical Auditor to join our team.

Auditing math prompts and model responses, verifying step-by-step reasoning, and authoring improved solutions and prompts that raise quality and rigor is at the heart of this role. You will work closely with our team to review math Q&A items and model outputs for correctness, completeness, notation, and structure.

This position requires the ability to evaluate algebra, calculus, linear algebra, probability, and statistics reasoning, as well as meticulous attention to mathematical notation, proofs, and solution structure. Strong written English skills and the ability to follow strict QA rubrics and write constructive feedback are also essential.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in mathematics, applied math, or a quantitative role, and a Bachelor's degree in Math or a related field (Master's / PhD preferred). Proficiency in Python for quick checks / validation is also required.

• Audit math Q&A items and model outputs for correctness, completeness, notation, and structure.
• Evaluate responses against detailed QA rubrics; assign ratings and write concise rationales.
• Draft improved prompts, reference solutions, and error-aware feedback.
• Run quick validations in Python.
• Flag edge cases, propose rubric refinements, and help maintain dataset consistency across topics.
