NMDPL : Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt. Ltd. (NMDPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed through a joint venture between the Government of Maharashtra and the Adani Group. It leads the Dharavi Redevelopment Project, aiming to transform one of Asia's largest informal settlements into a modern urban hub with sustainable housing, infrastructure, and economic opportunities.
Job Purpose : The Lead - PMO is responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role supports the Head - PMO in strategic planning, risk mitigation, financial modeling, and governance while driving operational efficiency and stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities
Lead PMO
Project Monitoring & Execution
Ensure project activities align with the master schedule and track progress against milestones.
Monitor contractor and consultant performance to ensure adherence to project scope, quality, and timelines.
Identify bottlenecks and coordinate with teams to implement corrective actions.
Conduct periodic project reviews and escalate critical issues to management.
Ensure all moving parts of the project are incorporated into the Strategic Master Plan, integrating dependencies, linkages, and up-to-date budgets.
Financial & Budgeting
Co-own the overall financial model with the finance & strategy team, iterating it for ongoing fine-tuning and benefit maximization.
Conduct a monthly Earned Value Analysis (EVA) to monitor cost and schedule variances, comparing against the Strategic Master Baseline plan, highlighting slippages, reasons, and corrective actions (CAPA).
Measure project ROI monthly and conduct sensitivity analysis to identify drag-down factors and suggest course corrections.
Conduct an impact analysis of key decisions to assess contractual obligations, cost, schedule, and manpower strategy, highlighting necessary adjustments to management.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with procurement, contracting, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Implement quality control measures to maintain a defect rate within defined limits.
Ensure project execution aligns with ESG, Smart City, and Net Zero initiatives.
Stakeholder Coordination
Engage with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve issues efficiently.
Conduct regular meetings with department heads to address outstanding concerns.
Liaise with external regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to statutory guidelines.
Risk Management & Reporting
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Report exceptions, safety concerns, and non-compliance issues.
Provide regular updates on project status, cost variances, and corrective actions

Qualifications
Educational Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience (Range Of Years)
12 - 14 Years
Preferred Industry
Experience in project execution, infrastructure, or urban redevelopment.
Expertise in project governance, financial tracking, risk mitigation, and impact analysis.
