Job descriptionLead the development and periodic review of the Bank's medium to long-term Assets Strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Translate strategic priorities into actionable business plans and measurable outcomes across all asset verticals (Retail, SME, Corporate, and Agri). Partner with product, risk, finance, and distribution teams to ensure seamless implementation of strategic initiatives. Identify and drive initiatives that enhance asset growth, yield optimization, and portfolio quality. Support the design of credit and lending strategies to achieve growth while maintaining prudent risk alignment. Drive initiatives to improve channel productivity, cost efficiency, and customer acquisition effectiveness. Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging business models to guide strategic decision-making. Anticipate and respond to shifts in customer needs, regulatory requirements, and macroeconomic factors impacting the assets business.
Recommend diversification strategies and new business opportunities to achieve scale.
- Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic initiatives to track progress and impact.
- Ensure timely execution and governance of all strategic programs through regular reviews with business leadership.
- Prepare strategic dashboards and presentations for leadership and Board-level Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent qualification from a reputed institution, preferably with specialization in Strategy, Finance, or Banking.
- Additional certifications in Strategic Planning, Digital Transformation, or Business Analytics will be an 10-15 years of progressive experience in banking, financial services, or strategic consulting, with a strong track record in strategy formulation, business planning, or performance management.
- Prior experience in Assets Strategy, Credit Portfolio Management, or Business Transformation within a banking environment is highly desirable.
