Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Embedded Software Engineer for our Ahmedabad office. The role involves developing, testing, and optimizing embedded software for smart home devices, including Wi-Fi modules, FreeRTOS-based systems, and IoT-enabled solutions. Responsibilities include writing efficient code, designing scalable software architecture, and ensuring reliable hardware-software integration. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to build robust, user-friendly smart home products that meet the highest standards of performance and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Embedded C / C++ programming
• Hands-on experience with Embedded Software Development for IoT or smart home products
• Expertise in FreeRTOS, RTOS concepts, and real-time task scheduling
• Experience with Wi-Fi modules (ESP32, ESP8266, or similar) and wireless communication protocols (MQTT, BLE, Zigbee preferred)
• Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools like JTAG, logic analyzers, or oscilloscopes
• Understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and optimization for low-power devices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or related fields
• Strong problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of cloud integration and OTA updates is a plus
