Manager, Engineering

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of C++ Software Developers, Qas, Business Analyst. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture and has accountability for their performance and results. Sets performance objectives, conducts performance reviews and recommends pay actions.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Defines a vision for the team in line with the department strategy and operational challenges and translates it into a concrete action plan. Works with a high level of autonomy, with some guidance from Senior Manager.
• Implement and promote Agile methodologies within the team. Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with Product Managers to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and align development efforts with business goals.
• Provide technical direction and support to the development team. Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software by implementing robust testing and code review processes.
• Encourage continuous learning and improvement within the team. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
