Role : Mainframe Developer

Required Technical Skill Set

IBM Mainframe Tech stack – JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ Control-M Scheduler

Desired Experience Range : 5+ Years

Location of Requirement : Bangalore

Desired Competencies (Technical / Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

  • Candidate must have overall 5 - 10 years of experience in application development on IBM Mainframe Tech stack – JCL, COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, MQ.
  • Conversant with Mainframe Tools – Control-M Scheduler, ChangeMan, Xpeditor, Abend Aid etc
  • Be proactive to stay 100% productive and independently deliver on technical changes.
  • Good Communication Skill required to work with DBAs, Infrastructure Admins and Cross LOB Application SMEs to testing coordination

Good-to-Have

  • Working Experience in Mainframe Cost Reduction, Performance Tuning, Migration programs and modernization.
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking Domain - Post trade - including Cash payments
  • Agile practices (SCRUM, JIRA workflow)
