The role will involve providing 24x7 support as part of a team rota and some weekend working.
Key Responsibilities
- Keeping the system up and running and identifying root cause of the incidents.
- Day 2 Day support operations as handling MSGW’s, Analysing Jobs, Monitoring the batches,
- Handling On calls, running scripts for business users to create reports, resolving incidents and service requests and performing data change requests
- Maintaining highest service levels for business and operations.
- Arresting reoccurring issues with a focus on permanent resolution.
- Understand business requirements through direct interaction with business / operations / technology.
- Development and maintenance of backend application.
- Works under minimal supervision to meet goals set by management.
- Meeting the SLA’s and avoid incidents.
- Any other tasks assigned by your line manager.
Experience and Qualifications Required
At least 6-8 yrs of experience working as a AS400 Support executive.In-depth knowledge of RPGLE, CLLE, DB2, Python, Batch jobs.Experience with supporting projects under 24x7 framework.Excellent troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication skills.Excellent analytical skills.
