Shift : 2 : 00 PM – 11 : 00 PM IST

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PDI Application Support Engineer to provide end-to-end support for PDI solutions used by a major retail and petroleum client. The role involves supporting store operations, troubleshooting application issues, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth business continuity. You will act as the backup support resource alongside an existing internal SME.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2 / L3 support for PDI applications across multiple retail locations.

Monitor system performance and ensure platform stability and uptime.

Troubleshoot incidents, configuration issues, and integration failures.

Support store operations, POS integrations, fuel pricing, inventory, and back-office processes.

Coordinate with internal business teams, vendor support, and end users.

Document fixes, SOPs, support workflows, and known issues.

Perform routine checks, maintenance tasks, and release validations.

Support operational changes, upgrades, and patch cycles.

Ensure timely resolution of tickets in accordance with SLAs.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience supporting PDI applications (Back Office, Logistics, Fuel Management, or Store Systems).

Strong understanding of retail fuel / convenience store workflows.

Experience working with ticketing and monitoring tools.

Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work independently in a production support environment.

Good to Have

Experience with GK / NCR POS systems or similar retail POS platforms.

Exposure to ITIL processes (Incident / Change / Problem Management).

Background supporting US clients or working in overlapping time zones.

Soft Skills

Reliable and accountable in a critical support environment.

Fast learner with attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support tasks.
