About Us

Interview Kickstart (IK) helps software engineers prepare for technical interviews at companies like Google, Meta, Netflix, and Amazon. We offer a comprehensive career acceleration platform that includes live classes, mock interviews, interview prep tools, and career coaching delivered by current and former hiring managers from top tech companies.

We are a fully remote, fast-growing company and are looking for strong backend engineers to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and scale backend features end-to-end
  • Develop and optimize APIs, focusing on performance and reliability
  • Handle on-call bug resolution and ensure product stability
  • Write clean, maintainable, and test-driven code
  • Optionally contribute to frontend work using Next.js or jQuery if interested

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience with Python and Django / Django REST Framework (DRF)
  • Proficiency with MySQL, Git, and GitHub / GitLab workflows
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and collaboration ability
  • Bonus : Familiarity with data structures and algorithms, AI-first mindset
