Key Responsibilities :
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement the overall safety roadmap for the chemical business aligned with corporate EHS policy.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to plant safety teams across all locations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in process safety, occupational health, and environmental performance.
- Represent the company during external audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance reviews.
Operational Safety Management :
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety systems and procedures across all manufacturing sites.Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments (HAZOP, HIRA, JSA), and ensure implementation of corrective actions.Review incident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure preventive measures are institutionalized.Lead emergency preparedness and response programs, including mock drills across plants.Ensure contractor and visitor safety protocols are strictly followed.Compliance & Documentation :
Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations under Factories Act, PESO, GPCB, and other statutory bodies.Maintain updated records of permits, licenses, and statutory safety documents.Develop and maintain SOPs, MSDS, and risk registers for all hazardous chemicals.Training & Culture Building :
Design and conduct training programs on process safety, behavioral safety, and emergency response.Promote a strong safety culture through employee engagement, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.Mentor site EHS officers and build capability within the safety team.Performance & Reporting :
Track and report key safety KPIs (LTI, near misses, unsafe acts / conditions).Prepare monthly and quarterly safety dashboards for management review.Recommend safety technology adoption (IoT-based monitoring, digital audits, etc.) to enhance EHS performance.Interested Candidate can share their resume to
