Medical Social Worker

At Asian Heart Institute, we are looking for a Medical social worker to work with doctors, nurses, physical therapists, discharge coordinators, and administrative staff to care for patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly and their families.

Responsibilities Responsible for psychological counseling of patients & relatives, and psychotherapy in case of depression & anxiety disorders.

Responsible for general ward class approvals for needy patients, referring unaffordable patients to outside trusts, and evaluating patients for financial help from the in-house trust.

Accurate patient status updates from O.T Create awareness about organ donation, facilitate the process of organ donation, and supervise, evaluate, and appraise staff work performance using job descriptions.

Referrals of needy patients to outside Trusts Fund raising for pediatric patients and liaising with corporate houses interested in sponsoring pediatric cases.

Blood Counseling Requirements M.

Phil / PhD In Clinical Psychology from a recognized University for the post of Clinical Psychologist Post Graduation in MPSW from a recognized University for the post of Medical Social Worker.
