Position Overview :

The Assistant Director – Events will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and managing all creative, academic, and cultural events organized by the DACA department. The role requires a dynamic professional with strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to ensure that departmental events reflect the innovation and artistic excellence of Chandigarh University's creative community.

The Assistant Director will oversee event strategy, production logistics, team management, and promotional outreach, ensuring a seamless execution of all DACA activities including exhibitions, film festivals, design expos, workshops, competitions, and industry interactions.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Event Strategy and Planning

• Develop and implement an annual calendar of departmental events aligned with academic goals and university branding.
• Conceptualize creative event themes and formats that showcase the talent and innovation of DACA students and faculty.
• Prepare detailed event proposals, budgets, and execution timelines.
